Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Water Leak in a Palm Harbor Kitchen

The ruptured water supply line to the sink flooded the hardwood floor in this Palm Harbor kitchen. The planks, engineered wood, did absorb sufficient water to cause some cupping and water penetration to the subfloor. SERVPRO technicians can remove the boards to access the plywood sheathing for drying by our air movers (shown) and dehumidifiers (not in this shot.) The small tubes are working to remove the moisture from within the base cabinets. The damp planks can be dried and reinstalled after some days. Rushing the process can split the material rendering them non-salvageable. Our goal is to always restore rather than replace water damaged building elements and fixtures. We love to make our customers happy knowing we went the extra mile to save them time, money, and inconveniece. Need help with water, fire, or a mold-damaging event to your home or business?
